​Each ladder is made out of one solid length of 100 feet of 1/2 " line of three strand polypropylene.  The ladder can withstand 3,700 pounds of tensile strength allowing several people to board at one time without risk of breakage.  Because polypropylene floats and the line is yellow, the rope ladder is easy to find in the water.  The rungs are sturdy and large enought with  knotted hand holds above and below each rung to help make it easy for young children and older adults alike to either cling to or climb.​​
